About the Role:
Our Administration team currently consists of 3 professional administrators which manage the Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and Accounting/Finance for the business. We’re looking for a positive, talented Accounts Receivable Officer to manage and take responsibility for the accounts receivable function of the business. This will include daily banking, debtor management, account reminders, resolving payment issues, customer queries, processing statements and managing customer accounts & limits. At times, this role may provide support to the finance team including financial reporting and reconciliations.
You’ll have significant Accounts Receivable experience with a strong track record of pursuing overdue accounts. We’re looking for someone who is proactive and can quickly progress to becoming an AR expert. You will have a positive, "can-do" attitude and a great sense of humour. You are skilled at handling multiple tasks simultaneously and able to cope with a busy workload. Will have great attention to detail with first class communication and people skills. Must also be well presented, and highly proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
This is a full-time role from Monday to Friday (no weekend work!) working 8.30am-5.00pm. This is a great opportunity for someone who has excelled in the past, to make their mark in a fast-growing company at the forefront of its industry.
Selection Criteria:
· Significant accounts receivable and general finance administration experience
· Demonstrated ability to learn quickly
· Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication
· Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial transactions
· Demonstrated past achievement in academic, personal or professional endeavours
· Proven ability to work harmoniously, both one-on-one and collaboratively in past roles
