Exciting News for Enphase Installers: Extended Warranty on IQ8 Microinverters!

Big news for Enphase customers! Starting October 1st, all activated (commissioned) IQ8 microinverters will now carry an impressive 25-year warranty, providing 10 extra years of peace of mind compared to the previous 15-year warranty. This significant enhancement reflects Enphase's commitment to quality and reliability, ensuring your customers can enjoy their solar investment with confidence.

What Does This Mean for You?

This extended warranty applies to any IQ8 microinverters in stock that have not been activated before October 1st, regardless of their purchase date. This means that if you have existing stock, you can activate these units and benefit from the extended warranty, adding even more value to your purchase.

About Enphase Microinverters

Unlike traditional string inverter system, Enphase features independently functioning microinverters under each panel. This means a problem with one panel doesn't impact the performance of the other. So, if one panel slips into the shade, is obstructed or experiences a glitch, the other panels can keep generating peak solar production.

IQ8AC

Designed for standard residential solar applications, the IQ8AC microinverter is optimised for panels up to 475W. It provides efficient energy conversion for most common rooftop solar systems.

IQ8HC

A step up in power handling, the IQ8HC is suited for larger residential panels up to 418 W. It offers higher capacity and can handle more powerful modules, ideal for systems requiring a bit more output. 

IQ8X

Built for high-capacity residential and commercial installations, the IQ8X can accommodate panels up to 505W. This microinverter is compatible with high voltage solar panels such as the new REC 460W Alpha Pure RX

The primary distinction between these microinverters is their maximum power handling capacity, with IQ8AC for lower-capacity panels, IQ8HC for higher-capacity residential and commercial panels, and IQ8X for high-power voltage residential and commercial panels.
