The S1200 optimiser is the latest commercial product released from SolarEdge. This optimiser allows installers to connect larger panels, up to 600W vs 550W on previous models. By unlocking larger panel sizes, installers save time and money on commercial projects with faster installations and lower labour, shipping and handling costs.
The S series optimisers are the new generation improving on the previous P series model. The “S” stands for Sense Connect. Sense Connect provides arc detection and rapid shutdown, making one of the safest DC systems on the market, even safer. Sense connect is a feature carried over from the recently released S440 and S500 residential models which looks for overheating due to installation issues or wear and tear.
The S1200 enables real-time monitoring of each panel through the SolarEdge monitoring platform, ensuring efficient management and tracking of the performance of the installation.
Designed for easy installation, maintenance, and replacement, the optimiser allows each panel to be monitored and managed in real-time using the SolarEdge monitoring platform. This reduces downtime and potential lost revenue.
The S1200 is great value as the balance of system costs are reduced by using fewer larger panels to achieve the same system size. Combined with minimising install time and costs from fewer parts, labour and shipping – it’s hard to look past this new product.
