How to reconnect the GoodWe System to Wi-Fi
Before You Start
Stand near your powered-on inverter.
Confirm your home Wi-Fi is active and have your network password ready.
Ensure the updated SEMS Portal app is installed on your phone and logged in with your inverter linked.
Step-by-Step Connection Instructions
Open Wi-Fi Configuration: Launch the SEMS Portal app. Tap Wi-Fi configuration on the login screen, or tap the Wi-Fi icon at the bottom of the main dashboard screen.
Confirm Status: Tap Next. If prompted, tap I am aware of that to acknowledge the setup process.
Connect to Solar Hotspot: Tap Go to WLAN setting interface to open your phone’s Wi-Fi settings. Select the network named Solar-WiFi (followed by numbers). Enter the password 12345678 and tap Connect. (Note: A "No Internet Available" prompt on your phone is completely normal).
Enter Home Wi-Fi Credentials: Return to the SEMS Portal app and tap Next. Select your home Wi-Fi network from the dropdown list and enter your Wi-Fi password. Leave DHCP toggled ON, tap Set, and allow up to one minute for configuration.
Reconnect & Verify: Tap OK when the success confirmation appears. Switch your phone's Wi-Fi connection back to your home network. Reopen the SEMS Portal app—your live data will reappear on the dashboard within a few minutes.
