How the SolarEdge CSS-OD Works
The SolarEdge CSS-OD 90 integrates with any existing SolarEdge PV system. It can also be installed alongside any existing PV system or even just operate as a standalone energy storage unit. One CSS-OD 90 system consists of one battery cabinet + one 50 kW PCS.
- Battery Cabinet: An outdoor-rated (IP54), heavy-duty enclosure housing 89.6 kWh total (85.12 kWh usable) LFP battery modules.
- 50 kW Power Conditioning System (PCS): A dedicated 3-phase battery inverter that manages AC/DC power conversion, controlling high-efficiency charging and discharging cycles.
- Interconnection Cable Kit: Heavy-duty cabling designed for direct link-up between the battery cabinet and the PCS.
SolarEdge ONE for C&I: An intelligent software platform that automates site-wide energy usage, peak shaving schedules, and time-of-use (TOU) optimization.
