How does Schletter FixZ Pro rail work?
Schletter FixZ Pro rail it's a specific rail for Fix-Z Pro tilt system. It works with all Schletter EMU roof interfaces
Below is simplified step by step of its installation:
- Connect Rails: Use rail joiners to connect FixZ Pro rails together.
- Insert Splice: Put one half of the splice into the end of the first rail until it reaches the midpoint.
- Attach Second Rail: Connect the second rail to the other end until it reaches the middle stop plate, locking both rails together.
- No Screws Needed: This process doesn't require screws, saving installation time.
- Consider Length: Keep in mind the recommended maximum array length based on installation location.
- Single-Use Joiners: Remember, rail joiners are for one-time use only.
About Schletter Fix Z Pro
The Schletter Fix Z Pro system consists of fastening frames securing Proline rails which support PV modules. The pre-assembled components, slide-in rail joiners without the use of screws and click-in module clamps, account for ease of installation and industry leading installation times.

- AS/NZS 1170.1:2002 (R2016) for imposed loadings, and
- AS/NZS 1170.0:2002 for general principles.
THE AFFORDABLE ADDITIONAL GIRDER
For metal roofs with a slope of less than 10°, installing modules parallel to the roof may not be ideal for maximum yield and optimal self-cleaning. Conventional support by struts is also often impossible or uneconomical because of the higher loads.
In such cases, flat elevation angles – such as can be achieved with FixZ Pro – offer a universal, extremely flexible and cost-effective solution with ideal load transfer into the roof covering.
