"zappi", the smart EV charger designed and manufactured by Myenergi has arrived to Australia
The zappi smart EV charger uses extra solar or wind energy to charge electric vehicles, with dynamic load balancing for easy installation and built-in safety features. This 22kW, three-phase charger comes in black with a 6.5m Type 2 cable—ideal for integrating EV charging with solar systems.
It offers features like adjustable charging timers, a boost function for faster charging, and remote monitoring via the myenergi app.
The zappi EV charger offers three charging modes, making it versatile for any homeowner. For those with grid-tied solar systems, the eco mode helps reduce energy costs by adjusting the charging current automatically to match on-site generation and household power use. In FAST mode, Zappi functions just like a standard EV charger.
ECO Charging Mode
Charge power is continuously adjusted in response to changes in generation or power consumption elsewhere in the home. Charging will continue until the vehicle is fully charged, even if power is drawn from the grid.
ECO+ Charging Mode
Charge power is continuously adjusted in response to changes in generation or power consumption elsewhere in the home. Charging will pause if there is too much imported power, continuing only when there is surplus free power available.
FAST Charging Mode
In this mode, the vehicle will be charged at maximum power. This is just like an ordinary Mode 3 charging point.
