SigenStack System Overview and Configurations

This blog is a living resource and will continue to be updated as new information becomes available. Last updated: 12/11/2025.

Currently, no SigenStack configurations have CEC approval, but approvals are expected soon. Stock is ready to go once approved. We encourage pre-orders to reserve the units you need.

How the SigenStack System Works

The SigenStack system is a modular solar solution that allows you to combine inverters and batteries to match your installation needs.

  • Sigen PV inverters connect directly to the solar panels to convert DC power into AC for immediate use or export to the grid. These are ideal for installations without battery storage.
  • Sigen HYA hybrid inverters add the ability to integrate batteries. During the day, solar energy can power the property and charge batteries for later use. These systems do not provide blackout protection, but they allow users to maximise self-consumption of solar energy.
  • Sigen HYB hybrid inverters with backup include blackout protection. This means that in the event of a grid outage, the system can continue supplying power to essential loads. When multiple inverters are used, a backup gateway ensures proper coordination for reliable backup.
  • The SigenStack Battery - All SigenStack inverters support multiple sizes and can be paired with up to 12 × 12 kWh batteries, giving flexibility for residential and commercial setups. Minimum battery requirements and special configuration notes are included in our System Configurations & CEC Approval Table.
