Can we add batteries and micros to the combiner at a later date and are there any restrictions?

Yes, additional M-ELV batteries, MI microinverters and M-Combiners can all be added later.
On a single phase M-Combiner the maximum batteries is 6 (42kWh) with 9.2kW of MI microinverters.
More batteries can be installed by using the M-Gateway (no-backup).
