Pre-wired System Controller for Single Phase Systems
The IQ System Controller 3 INT is needed only if backup power is required. It connects your home to the grid, the IQ Battery storage system, and solar panels. It also acts as a micro-grid interconnect device (MID), automatically switching your home’s energy system from grid power to backup power if there’s a power outage.
It combines interconnection equipment and a communication gateway into one unit, making it easier to connect solar panels and storage systems. This pre-wired solution simplifies grid-independent setups for homes and small commercial buildings.
This system controller comes already pre-wired with the inclusions listed below:
- 1x 63A 1P MCB Main Switch
- 1x 63A 1P MCB to wire Backup circuits
- 1x 63A 1P MCB to wire Non-Backup circuits
- 1x 40A 1P MCB to parallel wire 2x IQ Battery 5P's
- 1x 20A 1P MCB to wire 1x IQ Battery 5P
- 3 x 25A 1P MCB to wire up to 4x single-phase PV circuits
- 1x 16A 1P MCB* wired to the IQ Gateway
- 1x 6A 2P MCB wired as a System Shutdown (SSD) Switch (substitutes the external SSD that the IQ System Controller comes with)

This kit also comes with 6m of communications cable for Enphase batteries and Enphase IQ microinverter and battery label kits.
